TWO MEN SENTENCED TO DEATH. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 25, 12.10 a.m. . Brisbane, March 24. John Farrington , and Peter Tynan were sentenced to death for the murder of William Tynan, a brother of Peter, on November 29. The brothers Tynan quarrelled, one attacking the other with a cane knife and inflicting fearful injuries, including a split skull. He also attacked his sister-in-law, but she escaped, though severely wounded. William, the injured man, was afterwards found dead. The other man, John Farrington. was present at the time and was alleged to have taken part in the murderous business.
