ALL-BRITISH SHOPPING WEEK

HITTING GERMANY HARD. By Cable—Press Association—Copyrights Received 7, 10.50 p.m. Berlin, March 7. The Berliner Tageblatt protests against the conversion, of the "All-Brit-ish Shopping Week" into a weapon against German trade, and declares that Germany, if she desires, can call into existence a counter movement excluding British manufactures. The paper calls upon Bradford, Manchester, and Huddersfield to energetically oppose the boycott of German goods.

It is interesting to note, according to an English fashion journal, that the Queen proposes to hold a levee at which it will be insisted that the Royal guests' attire shall be of "All-British" manufacture.
