HYDRO-ELECTRICAL SCHEME
PROSPECTING OPERATIONS GOING ON. By Telegraph.—Press Asssciation. Christchurch, Last Night. Prospecting work in connection with the Lake Coleridge hydro-electric scheme is still progressing, a gang of twelve men being employed putting in a drive, sinking shafts and boring to ascertain if solid rock exists in the vicinity of the proposed outlet. Rock has been met with, but it is too soon yet for those in change of the work to say whether it is solid rook or only a glacial deposit.
