UNIFORM POLICY DESIRED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cliristchurch, Last Night. With reference to the active steps that the Farmers' Political Protection Party intend taking in Canterbury, and the campaign to be inaugurated shortly by Mr. David Jones, the party's organiser, a conference is to be held shortly in Wellington between the Dominion executive of the Farmers' Union and representatives of the party and Mr. Jones. The purpose of the conference is to arrive at a uniform basis on which the party's campaign throughout the Dominion will be conducted. The proposed platform of the party will also be discussed.
