STATE COAL MINE
NEW SOUTH WALES PROPOSALS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 28, 11.20 p.m. Sydney, February 28. The Government is considering the report of the Government mining experts on the proposal to start a State coal mine near Lithgow, on a site on Crown lands. Judging by the report, the Minister of Mines believes boring will discover a good payable seam. The Minister declared he had no misgivings in starting a State mine.
