THE FEDERAL PREMIER'S SYMPATHY. By Cable—(Press Association—Copyrisrht. Melbourne, February 28. A settlement of the agricultural implement dispute by a conference is regarded as out of the question. The strikers regret that Mr. Fisher's effort to bring the parties together was unsuccessful, but have decided that in the event of the Premier (Mr. Murray) offering to mediate, his services will be declined. The Premier will be asked to nationalise the industry.

Mr. Fisher contributed £lO to the funds of the strikers.
