SUPREME COURT.

THE NAPIER SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Saturday. The following sentences were imposed by the Supreme Court to-day:—James Lucas, theft of £5 from a customer, four months; Alexander Strachan, discharging fire-arm with intent, twelve months' reformatory treatment; Fredcrick Williams, attempted rape and burglary, fivw years; John Morrison, found by night in a dwelling with intent to commit a crime, twelve months' probation. ~» The Court is occupied to-day with the second trial of Donald Morrison, charged with sheep stealing, the first jury having failed to agree.
