NO DAMAGE REPORTED. By Tel^eraph.—Pre«« Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The most severe earthquake experienced here for same years was felt at 3.45 o'clock this morning. There worn two shocks, the first of five seconds, and the second of eight seconds in duration. The shake was travelling from southwest to north-east. No damage was done, though the shake considerably alarmed nervous people. ChristehuTch, Last Night. A shock of earthquake was felt at an early hour this morning. There was more of a swaying motion (hail the usual jerk, but the shock was not severe enough to cause any damage.
