ANNUAL MEETING. ' < By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Queenstown, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Press Association was held here to-day. Alterations were approved in the articles of association increasing the number of directors by. two for the purposo of representing papers outside the four cities. Messrs. Carson (Wanganui) and Pirani (Feilding) were elected to these positions without opposition, and Messrs. Brett and Horton,' who were the retiring directors of Ijhe old board, were also re-elected unopposed. Mr. G. Fenwick, the chairman, delivered an address dwelling on the great development' of the cable service and the work of 'the association generally, which the meeting ordered to be printed and circulated to members. The balancesheet and report were passed.
