GUM STORE BURNED. By Telegraph.—Preßs Association. Auckland, Tuesday. A fire at Parengarenga . destroyed Yates' large gum shed, produce shed, and contents valued at £2OOO. The loss is partly covered by insurance in the Norwich Union.

STACKS DESTROYED. Nelson, Last Night. George Russ, a fanner at Waimea' West, suffered serious loss by fire this evening, four stacks of barley and oaten, sheaves being destroyed, lie origin of the lire is a mystery.
