There is a light calendar of twenty indictments, including a charge of murder against Alfred Cash, arising out of the Hclensvillc tragedy, in respect of which the judge reminded the grand jury that the question ot • sanity was not for them to consider. William John Ross, for theft of a saddle at Kamo, was admitted to probation for twelve months. ' DUNEDIN SESSIONS. Dunedin, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day Walter Goodman was acquitted on a charge of stealing from the dwelling of Henry Coughlan at Naseby £7, the property of Joseph Peter Ory. Arthur Patrick McKay was convicted of using obscene _ language under great provocation. Sentence was deferred
