Greek colliers at Kenilworth mines struck work, and, armed with guns, scattered on the hills, whence they shot at the men proceeding to the mine. The sheriff organised a force of (500 men, and a battle followed, three being killed, one fatally wounded, and many slightly injured. The Greeks fled, and the sheriff's posse is pursuing. Further fighting is anticipated. There are 200 Greeks still armed.
