ALLEGED CHAFFINCH FRAUDS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Perth, February 0. In connection with the investigation arising from the reported phenomenally rich ore at the Chaffinch mine, and the subsequent heavy slump in shares, warrants have been issued for the arrest of Bonjick, mining, engineer, Dyason, mining investor, and Grecnwny, mine manager, on a charge of conspiring to defraud the public. Dyason has been arrested in Melbourne. THE BULLFINCH STRIKE. Perth, February 0. The long-standing strike on the Bullfinch field has been settled and work resumed. FURTHER ARRESTS. Received 6, 9.15 p.m. Sydney, February 6. Bonjick was arrested at Sydney, and Greeriway at Yass, and were remanded. Greenway acted as manager of the Chaffinch mine up to Christmas, and resigned after presenting a somewhat favorable report.
