A BATTLE IMMINENT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. Mexico, February 5. The insurgents have fixed the attack on Jaurez for .Sunday. Guarantees have been given that the lives and property of foreigners will be safeguarded. The Federal troops are advancing on Jaurez, and the insurgent force has been dispatched to form an ambush. An unconfirmed report states that the Federals and Revolutionists are fighting south of Jaurez. INSURRECTIONISTS WRECK A TRAIN. SOME STIFF FIGHTING. BIG BATTLE IMMINENT. Received 6, 0.15 p.m. Mexico City, February C. • The insurrectionists, by digging a ditch across the line, wrecked a train containing Federal troops, ten miles south of Jaurez. Many soldiers were killed and wounded. Stiff fighting followed, but the Federalists succeeded in ecaping from the trap. Their rear was fired on as they withdrew. The biggest battle since the revolution smarted is imminent.
