BOXING
DICK ARNST'S CHANCES. Says the Bulletin:—Dick Arnst's in'tention to some day have a smack at the world's boxing championship still rankles 'neath his waistcoat, and he seldom mi? es his daily training lesson in the Yankee camp. Amst is a big supporter of the Yankee section of bruisers; though doubtless accounts are balance! by the "support" which Arnst's presence secures. But the fault with Dick is ins shortness of arm. There is plenty of •beef about him; but the thought of a short-range fighter standing up to gorillaarmed Johnson is awful. Unless Arnst can get his arms lengthened he would he wise not to venture beyond the training shed.
