RIFLE SHOOTING
TARAXAKI GUARDS. On Thursday the Taranaki Guards lired the second shoot for the Worthing Cup, the scores also counting for the company's champion belt. Sergeant Evans put on the line score of 101, while Private Riddles and Private -\icholls each secured possibles at one range. The belt was won by Private Xieholls, and as this is the second year he has won the trophy in succession, it becomes his personal property. There are live more shoots yet to be fired for the cup, these taking place at the Taranaki Rille Association's forthcoming meeting. On the two shoots finished Color-Sergeant Ilartnell has a lead of one point. Following were Thursday's scores: —
