Several English trade unions have been considering proposals to select a number of eligible members to go to Australia, where work is represented to be available. Twenty or thirty plasterers will probably leave shortly for Sydney. Overtures are being made to the Stone Masons' Union for men to go to Australia, but the union purposes communicating with Melbourne and Sydney before acting.
