TAKANAKI COMPANY. j A further shipment of 4-incb and. 8-inch casing and of steel cable has arrived for the Taranaki Petroleum Company. There is no abatement in the flow of oil from Nos. 2 and 3 bores. A sample of the oil now being obtained from the low levels at No. 3 ish to be refined to ascertain if there ig any difference between this and the oil obtained at the higher levels. Stratford visitors freely availed themselves of the directors' invitation to visit the bores yesterday, and those who were there for the first time retired convinced that there is- more in the industry than they had Hitherto believed. There were also many local visitors. No. 2 bore was flowing very strongly at times throughout the day.
