The wool sales to-day were irregular; average prices for faulty merinos were weak, and those for New Zealand crossbreds barely maintained. A large selection of superior Geelongs met with keen competition. Silver, 24% d. Waihi shares 75s and 77s Od, Junction 30s 7d and 31s lOd. Newton King reports the sale on Saturday afternoon of Mr. Charles Clarke's farm on the Wills road, Bell Block. The farm, which consists of 04 acres, with a five-roomed house, a large cowshed and other buildings, was knocked down to Mr. William Ogle, of Alton, at £35 per acre. [ ==============
