Further attempts to iloat the vessel have been unsuccessful. Large quantities of rice, oil, and other cargo have been thrown overboard to lighten her. TWO DROWNING CASES. Melbourne, January 31. Two brothers named Stanborough were drowned while bathing in the Yarra. Brisbane, January 31 . Two men were crossing a creek at Mackay, when one got into difficulties. The other went to his assistance, and both were drowned.
