FIRES.
A BLAZE AT MILTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dnncdin. Last Night. The front portion of an engineering shop at Milton, occupied by Alexandei McDonald, was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. McDonald was working in the rear part, and was not aware ot the fire until the flames had a verv strong hold. Some machinery which was destroyed was insured for £2OO in the State Ofl'ico, but McDonald estimates his loss at £7OO. The fire evidently spreaa from some rubbish which was set on fire by some unknown person.
