AN UNITED COALITION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 20, 10.40 p.m. London, January 20. Colonel £eely, Under-Secretary for Colonial Affairs, speaking at Oldham, declared that sea power, in the event of danger, would be Britain's first consideration. Regarding their opponents' statement that the Liberal majority was composed of a coalition, the latter was absolutely united on the main planks whereon the election had' been fought. Wellington's army was a coalition, he said, and it defeated Napoleon. That Liberals must secure predominance was the expressed will of the people.
