In the third round Jackson and C. Rundle beat Broughton and Penn; Morrison and Dempsey beat Gray and Firth (5); Hooper and Collins play Waugh and Brooking (4); Sinclair and Cock play L. Goldwater and Luscombe. The round must be completed by January 28. Fitzroy will send four rinks to play New Plymouth on Thursday.
