FIRES.
FIRE NEAR MANAIA. Tim five-roomed residence of Mr. R. Moore, on tlie Taikatu road, was burned to the ground on Saturday. Everything, with the exception of a few articles of furniture, was destroyed, says the Mauaia. Witness. The insurances were £2Oll on tlie house and £loo 011 the furniture. Mr. Moore has had a good deal of liard luck in the matter of losses by fire, this being the second time in twelve months that his house has been similarly destroyed.
