RUSSO-GERMAN AGREEMENT

Germany has assured the Porte that the negotiations which are still progressing with Russia deal exclusively with railway construction in Persia and the junction of the Baghdad railway therewith. Turkey favors a settlement on the basis of an adjustment of British, German, Russian and French interests.
