A BILLET FOR BOWLING

LABOR ORGANISER IN THE DOMINION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. As an outcome of an address given by Mr. Peter Bowling here on Sunday night last, a meeting of workers was held to-night to discuss the desirableness of Mr. Bowling's services being retained to organise the Labor Party of the Dominion, and to heal the breach existing in the ranks of local Laborites. About seventy or eighty were present, and after a lengthy discussion, it was resolved, "That this meeting invites the New Zealand Federation of Labor to retain the services of Mr. Peter Bowling for a further term of eight weeks, and pledges itself to support it to the best of its ability, both financially and otherwise, to organise on the lines of his address on Sunday evening."
