NEW FALLS DISCOVERED

ON MOUNT EGMONT. A waterfall of groat size and beauty was discovered by the caretaker of the Stratford Mountain House about halt-an-hour's journey from that place on Sunday last. It is almost inaccessible, and the caretaker reached the spot onl v v after very great trouble. The falls are described as being twice the size of Dawson's falls on the Manaia side of the mountain, and to excel them in their picturesque surroundings and general magnificence.
