CLASH WITH THE POLICE. By" Cable.—i'cese Association.—Copyright. Received 22, 9.22 p.m. St. Petersburg, December 22. Students are in a state of effervescence oyer the treatment of political prisoners. Arrests and imprisonment are frequent. The police at' Odessa were dispersing a demonstration when the students fired, the police replying. One student was mortally wounded, and several others slightly wounded. Some 235 were arrested, and several of the police were wounded.
