COUNTERFEIT COINING
"FATHER AND SON CHARGED. By Gable—Press Associativa—Copyright. Received 22, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, December 22. Father and son, named Youell, charged with counterfeit coining, were committed for trial. Each was allowed bail of £IOO. An assayer stated that the coins found, which were imitation sovereigns, each contained a farthing's worth of gold.
