MURDER AND ROBBERY.

Nathan B. Hyde, ex-member of the New York bar, and recently Wisconsin State Commissioner, has been found murdered in his residence at Chicago. A crowbar had been used to fracture his skull. Robbery was apparently the motive.

The ballot of boilermakers is proceeding at Newcastle and on the Clyde. They are almost unanimously in favour of the Edinburgh agreement.
