The Barawa yesterday morning brought 101 tons of cargo from Onehunga, including 34 tons of manure, 13 tons of cement, 12 tons of sugar, 12 tons of flour, and 100 cases of fruit. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Nelson for New Plymouth yesterday afternoon and is due here early this morning. THE KOTUKU. • The Kottfku is not now expected tp arrive till Saturday. She is at present discharging part of her earg of coal at Onehunga. THE PETONE SOLD. The Blackball Coal Company's steamer Petone (708 tons gross) has been sold to the Canterbury Steamship Co. to replace the Ripple in the coastal trade. The Petyrae, which was formerly named the Gresham, was fcuilt in 1900 and has proved a useful type of coal-carrier, and has brought many cargoes of Blackball coal to New Plymouth. The figure at which the transaction was effected is not disclosed.
