SCHOOL FUNCTIONS
THE COMING VACATIONS. . The distribution of prizes at Frankley Road school takes place this evening at 7.30. Admission is free and all parents and friends are invited. -The lneaking-up ceremony and prize distribution in connection with the Central school will take place in the Theatre Royal at 2.15 on Thursday afternoon, when the committee hope to see all parents and friends who can make it convenient to attend. The shield presented to the school by ex-pupils in connection with the celebration of 25 years' service by the headmaster will be on view. The proceedings will commence a little earlier than usual so as to enable parents attending this function to also be present at the garden party at St. ,Kilda. The annual - distribution of prizes a* the West End school will take place on Friday afternoon, commencing at halfpast two. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. G. Tisch) will preside, and distribute the prizes, including the swimming certificates, shooting belt, and medals, to the winners. Parents and friends of the children are invited to be present.
