AN EMPHATIC PROTEST. By Telegraph.—Pre** Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The Otago Pharmaceutical Association has entered an emphatic protest against the proposed regulations under the Sale of Food and Drug Act. ST. PATRICK'S COLLEGE. Wellington, Last Night. At the St. Patrick's College prize distribution to-night Dr. Kennedy, the rector, announced the result of .the competition for two college entrance scholarships of £2O a year, each for four years, offered through the generosity of Mr. Martin Kennedy. These scholarships have been won by Patrick Handrahan, of Ashburton, and John Hally, of the Marist School, Wellington. It was announced that through the generosity of another Wellington Catholic gentleman, whose identity is not disclosed, the College is able to offer a number of new scholarships, not as entrance scholarships, but to be gained by students ol the College itself. The sum of £4O or £SO would be available annually, and it was intended to divide it into four or five scholarships of £lO each.
