MR T. E. TAYLOR, M.P.
CANDIDATE FOR CHRISTCHURCH MAYORALTY.
By Tclegranh.—Pros* Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Mr. T. E. Taylor, M.P., told a reporter this afternoon that in response to a large number of inquiries since his return from Wellington he had practically decided to be a candidate for the Mayoralty at the election next year. He said that the next session of Parliament would extend over only a few weeks, and his absence from two or three meetings of the City Council would not in any way interfere with his mayoral duties.
