GRATEFUL RAILWAY MEN
THE FIREMEN AND CLEANERS' ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. The editor of the Westport News, Mr. Strachan, who has recently received from branches of ,the Engine-drivers', Firemen's and Cleaners' Association in all parts of the Dominion, letters conveying resolutions of appreciation of his services in assisting the Association to gain Ministerial recognition, was, at a banquet last night to celebrate such recognition, made the recipient of a handsome Horal epergne.
