WOOL SALES. 3y Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 7, 10.45 p.m. London, December 7. The wool sold was as follows:—Home. 48,000 bales; Continent, 59,800; United Spates, 1200. There were held 8000 bales. Compared with the October closing, all good shafty merinos sold well, and were practically unchanged. Short and faulty declined 7% per cent.; good seoureds, strong demand, were unchanged. Greasy crossbreds, in small supply, generally advanced about y 2 d; and slipes sold at par to 5 per cent, advance. Best merino lambs, unchanged; faulty, declined, 5 per cent; crossbreds, unchanged.
