Dr. Findlay agrees with the view expressed by a legal authority in Dunedin that under the provisions of the New Public Holidays Act hotels will have to close on Monday following Christmas Day. Another feature of the licensing law concerning which, there has been some doubt is the date when ten o'clock closing is to operate.
