A PREMIER'S LIFE ATTEMPTED
TRAIN-WRECKERS AT WORK. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 29, 10.30 p.m. , Athens, November 29. An unsuccessful attempt was made to wreck Premier Venezelos' train on the Regogili bridge. The train narrowly escaped falling into a ravine. The attempt is attributed to his outspoken refusal at Larissa to promise forced expropriation of Thessalian landlords. Venezelos promised a drainage scheme to rescue rich regions in Thessaly, which are now a prey to malaria.
