VAST POSSIBILITIES. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. Sydney, November 29. 1 Messrs. MeKenzie and Mead, the Victorian immifration deputation to Britain, were entertained at dinner. Mr. Mead stated that Australia had the best land he had seen. The problem was to overcome the prejudice against small holdings and intense cultivation. Only small farms paid under irrigation.
