AS A KING EDWARD MEMORIAL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, November 27. Lord Tenterden has initiated a scheme for the purchase of the Crystal Palace as a memorial to Kin? Edward. He proposes to utilise a portion as the headquarters of the National Aero Corps, and place the whole property in war time at the Government's disposal for aeroplaning purposes. Other portions will be rearranged as national and colonial exhibitions for fcho sale of Home and colonial products, and pleasure gardens. The cost of purchase and adaptation is put at £OOO.OOO. and the working capital required at £IIO,OOO.
