HOMING.
The New Plymouth East Flying Club held a race from Mastertom on Thursday. The weather was all that could be desired, and fast times were recorded. Nine members competed, forwarding fifty birds for liberation. The result was as follows:—H. J. Moverley's Latent, 3hr. 45min., 1; W. Bransgrove's Rainbow, 3hr. 45min. 15sec, 2; S. Lovell's Bell Hook, 3hr. 45min. 48sec, 3; F. James' Sylvia, 3hr. 46min. lOsec., 4.
