XEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The New Plymouth Homing Pigeon Club held a very successful race from Christehurch last week. Twenty-five birds, representing six lofts, were forwarded t for liberation by Mr. Gerard at the TimiNj office. Mr. Gerrard wired: "Liberated 5.47 a.m.; clear; south-west wind.'' Fast timis were recorded, the winner arriving home at 3.12 p.m., having ilown the distance of 400 miles in !)hr. 25niin. Details: W. A brown homer was ca light in Xew Plymouth yesterday, bearing a rubber ring numbered SO2S, and another ring numbered 750, X.Z., 1008-0.
