LAWN TENNIS.

The Xew Plymouth Club expects to meet a Waverlev team at New Plymouth on Wednesday, 30th inst. The Xew Plymouth Club's courts are now open for play daily (weather permitting). The courts will be reserved for men on Tuesdays from 4.30 p.m., and on Saturdays between 1.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Members of the Xew Plymouth Club are reminded that to obtain the rebate current subscriptions should be paid before December 1.

The Park Tennis Club's general eom.mittee meets this evening to appoint a caretaker. Preliminary steps are being taken in connection with a garden party at "Overdale," the pretty residence of the president, Mr. R. Cock, probably on Thursday. December 15. The committee hopes to open the season on Boxing Day.
