ACCEPTS HOMAGE OF THE P.AROTSE CHIEFTAIN'. By Cable. —Press Assj,-iat,on.—Copyright Livingstone, November 10. The Duke of Connaught received the paramount chief Lewanika an;l other representatives of tiie Barotse nation. Lewanika, who was clad lavishly in a goldlaced uniform, tendered loyal homage, giving and receiving presents. The impressive indalia was characterised by dignity and punctilious ceremonial. Messrs Fisher and Fowlds. who have been staying at Victoria Falls, on the south side of the river for the past two days, were officially entertained at lunch here this afternoon by Mr. Goode, Secretary to the Administration. They also attended the Lewanika indaba at Government House as guests of the Administration.
