LAND COMPANY. London, November 11. I The New Zealand and Australian Land Company shows a profit of £257,341, and carries £IOO,OOO to the contingency fund and £2459 forward.

NEW ZEALAND STOCKS. London, November 10. j The underwriting is proceeding of £5,000,000 New Zealand bonds at 89%, convertible into 3% per cents, inscribed till 1914. The existing 3y 2 per cents, have fallen to 97.
CHINA'S BORROWING. London, November 10. An agreement has been signed by British, German, French and American financial groups providing for co-opera-tion in Chinese loans. The agreement is the outcome of America's connection with the loan of £10,000,000 authorised on October 30.
