STRATFORD DAY BY DAY
(From Our Own Onrresjion^nt.' Stratford, Last Night. The one topic of conversation here at present is the meeting of the Hospital Board yesterday. The Hine charges have been lost sight of for the moment, and there was a great demand for the full report in the "News" this morning. Properties continue to change hands, the latest sales being those of Mr. E. Taine's property on Brooks road to Mr. Wilks, of Eltham, and Mr. W. Gyde's farm at Cardiff to Mr. C. Carley. The Stratford Lawn Tennis Club are opening their season to-morrow. The Primitive Methodist Church held their anniversary tea and concert last night, when there was a large attendance. A verdict of death from natural causes was returned in the inquest held on the man W. Armstrong, who was found dead at Whangamomona on Sunday.
