A " LOST " -MAX FOUND IX WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. According to the story given in a Blenheim paper, the man Rollinshaw. who was reported to have been lost overboard from the s.s. Blenheim some two months ago, was not drowned at all. On Saturday last Mr. D. Pilmer, a Blenheim resident, saw a young man enter a wellknown public place in Wellington. After a short survey of the suspect, who wore a large hat, wig, and pince-nez, Pilmer went up to and addressed him by his name. The mail denied his identity. Pilmer learnt he had registered at the hotel as ''Lewis," and managed, with the assistance of the landlord, to obtain a close scrutiny of Rollinshaw in his bedroom, and there obtained confirmation of his suspicions. Notwithstanding his disguise, Rollinshaw kept to his bedroom all Sunday, up to evening, when he paid his score and left the hotel. Next day. Pilmer again saw Rollinshaw in the city, •and managed to get into touch with him. Rollinshaw then admitter his identity. He informed Pilmer that he got off the Blenheim as she touched the river bank, and made south across country to Seddon. He ca«?ht the coach there, and went on to Kaikoura, thence to Christchurch, and up to Wellington.
