An explosion at the East Oriental Glanmore mine at Gympie killed William Wallace and Patrick Dunne. They had charged a member of holes, and after the explosion they returned. One charge must have missed fire, and exploded now, with terrific force, hurling tls. men thirty feet. They sustained fearful injuries, and died almost instantly.-
