THE N.S.W. ELECTIONS.
THE NEW MINISTRY. By Cable.—-Press Association.—Copyright. Sydney, October 22. The Herald states that the new Ministry is at least representative of the party. The result of the St. Leonard's second ballot is a reminder to the .Government that the cause represented by the Opposition has not lost all power of appeal. On the figures it is not certain that Mr. MeGowen is in a more enviable position than Mr. Wade, as the independents will not support features of the policy with which Labor is identified. Another appeal to the people may be necessary in the immediate future. The Telegraph says that on the whole the Ministry is a creditable one, but as the caucus will have Ministers under its thumb the personnel is not of much consequence. By appointing an honoiaiy Minister they have made the sweets c* office go as far as possible. •/ .
