Norfolk road west on Tuesday last had a great jolliticatiou, the event being the marriage of Hiss Mary Christiansen (eldest daughter of the late Mr. Christiansen) to Mr. Anton Potroz, of York road. The ceremony was performed in the Roman Catholic Church at fugle wood, and was attended by a large number of friends from, all parts of the district, who afterwards returned to the residence of the bride's mother, on the Bedford road (oil' Norfolk road west), where a most attractive wedding breakfast was disposed of. In the evening a very large number of friends attended the festivities, which were carried out in Polish fashion, and 1 understand a most enjoyable time was spent, the function (consisting of dances, etc.) being kept up all night. I am informed on reliable authority that the "bride's dance" netted the sum of over ;C5() for the happy couple, who have the best wishes of all for the future.
